Ingredients:

-1 small dry gelatin pack (fragrance free is a must, because you don’t want you to use the flavored variety and end up staining your face)

-a few teaspoons of milk (any fat grade)

Instructions:

By mixing one teaspoon of gelatin (Knox gelatin you can find easily in the baking aisle) with 3 teaspoons of milk, you obtain a homogeneous paste which should be put in microwave for approximately 10 seconds ( if you have to use a stove, use the double boiler methods with a bowl on top of a pan of water), after which mix it, and immediately apply it on the face.

Leave it on the area where the blackheads are predominant for approximately 15 minutes until it dries and tightens up on the skin, and then peel it off. This is a simple and easy solution for getting rid of the unpleasant and unaesthetic blackheads which are no reason for any health issues, but are a result of pollution, environmental causes, an unhealthy diet or excess sebum. Use it, and you will see spectacular results.

  1. Hey there,
I’ve tried this, but the consistency wasnt sticky it was quiet runny,
however it worked and my skin is feeling soft and smooth.

  2. This is the first blackhead mask I have tried that actually worked. It didn’t get all of the black heads but it got most of them. The consistency wasn’t the same as the thick white paste that is in the picture, it was runny and more clear but once it started to dry it made a mask and started tightening on the skin. Pulled it off and saw all the black heads it pulled out.

  3. I have been using commercial “deep cleansing pore strips” sporadically for years and must admit I was a little sceptical how well this mask would work. I actually tested it using Almond milk rather than dairy and based on the two earlier comments, erred on the side of less milk.

The results were as good as any I have had with the commercial strips.

This solution is 100% natural (albeit processed) and is lower cost than commercial pore strips.

Thanks for the awesome tip and goodbye to expensive commercial pore strips.

  4. The formula was pretty runny so it was hard to keep on my nose, but I just waited for it to thicken a little bit and then applied it. It worked perfectly other than the small complication. Most of my blackheads are gone. I’m done buying nose strips!
